Endlich ist es so weit! Zwar kann man noch nicht behaupten, dass die Küche schon wieder wie eine Küche aussieht, aber die Fahrräder sind jetzt komplett und wir können es kaum noch erwarten, in die Pedale zu treten!

Heute also die ersehnte erste Probefahrt zum Glenmore Reservoir (Trinkwasserspeicher von Calgary), allerdings noch ohne Gepäck - man muss es ja nicht gleich übertreiben!
So today we finally test our bikes at the Glenmore Reservoir, still without any luggage though. No need to exaggerate!
Nach ein paar Kilometern schneebedeckten Radlweges ein kurzer Zwischenstop - Dave hat eine Schraube locker :-)
Short stop after a couple of kilometres of snow covered bicycle path - Dave's got a screw loose :-)
Pause bei absoluter Windstille und 18 Grad in der Sonne (sagt mein Tacho).

Keine 200 Meter weiter hat Dave dann einen Bolzen aus seiner Kette verloren - Schluss für heute. Fahrräder zurückschieben, Ersatzbolzen kaufen, Kette reparieren, morgen nochmal versuchen...
Not even 200 metres down the path Dave lost a chain pin - that's it for today. We have to walk back our bikes, buy a new pin, repair the chain and try again tomorrow...
